Americans for Prosperity-FL Celebrates Education Freedom During National School Choice Week
AFP-FL to host events throughout Florida with National School Choice Awareness Foundation
Tallahassee, FL—Americans for Prosperity-Florida (AFP-FL) said National School Choice Week is the perfect time to celebrate opportunities that fit learner’s unique needs as thousands gather around the nation to highlight access to a variety of education pathways.
AFP-FL has long stood for the value that education should not be a one-size-fits-all model that limits parents from making the best choices for their children. This week, AFP’s grassroots base is joining National School Choice Week in cities around Florida and the country to carry the momentum for expanded and diverse learning options.
AFP-FL State Director, Skylar Zander, released the following statement:
“We are thrilled to celebrate National School Choice Week, a time to recognize and appreciate the diverse educational options available to families across Florida. We are fortunate to have an education model that neighboring states look to as they seek the best ways to serve learners and their future aspirations. AFP-FL looks forward to working with legislators and community members to ensure all opportunities for education freedom and growth remain available while supporting traditional public schools, private schools, homeschooling, micro schooling and other pathways to success.”
