Tallahassee, FL— Americans for Prosperity-Florida (AFP-FL) State Director Skylar Zander today issued the following statement following Governor Ron DeSantis’ State of the State address:
“Governor DeSantis’ State of the State address marks the beginning of an important two months for all Floridians, and Americans for Prosperity-Florida looks forward to working with him and legislative leaders to advance policies that will strengthen our state’s economy, protect taxpayers, and expand opportunity for all. Florida has long been a leader in fiscal responsibility and economic strength, and the new legislative session presents an important opportunity to build on that success. By prioritizing housing attainability, free market insurance reforms, reducing barriers to work, and ensuring responsible stewardship of taxpayer dollars, we can continue to make Florida the best place to live, work, and raise a family.”
